Choosing the Photographs

For the front cover photograph it was important to follow the conventions of a music magazine. I wanted my photograph to be a meduim close up of the artist to create immediate eye-contact and tention for the audience.

It was hard to choose which photographs would be appropriate for my music magazine front cover therefore to minimise the decision I started by choosen the photographs that had the chacrateristics of eye-contact and attitude. I then edited each photograph by changing the contrast and brightness to determin which photograph was best.

 

This was originally a meduim long shot, but i decided to crop the image as I like the facial expression.
